The word Diet has been around for ever it seems. It is a term we would rather avoid to use. In these days we do not think of how the ladies in the 1800′s handled losing weight without exercising but of course there was the corset. That onerous pierce of clothing was discarded a very long tome ago together with the whalebone ribs in the dresses and of course, the bustle. The diet of the day was named after Banting and was the first low carbohydrate of the day. This was whispered discreetly amongst polite society. The diet was a success. Today if we are overweight, we are overwhelmed with choices of diet, product, exercise and weight loss food supplements. All you have to do is choose the program that is right for you.
